I am really bad about updating my blog..but June 28, was our 4th anniversary. I cannot believe it has been 4 years. Matt is so good to me and always surprises me on our anniversary. Our 1st he surprised me with a trip to Vegas, our 2nd he surprised me with a trip to Disneyland (the happiest place on earth I think). Our 3rd he surprised me in Texas with tickets to Les Miserables. And this year, he surprised me with dinner at The Melting Pot. If you haven't been there you should go. It was so romantic. We had our own table behind a curtain for privacy. The food was divine and it was the perfect night. Thanks to my sister in law Amber for watching the boys. She toughed it out watching 5 kids under the age of 4. I love you Matt for all you do. Can't wait till next year!!!

Pine Top

We went up to Pine Top for the weekend. It was nice to get away from the heat. The boys had a blast at the lake and at the park. Here are some pictures from the trip!

1 Year Photos

Here are a few photos of the boys at their 1 year mark. We got these taken at Target. It was so hard taking these pictures and we only got a few good ones of Carter. Mason had a ton to choose from. I have to thank my sister Cindi for coming with me to help. I couldn't have done it without her. These were my favorites.

Happy Father's Day!
I know I am a few days late, but I wanted to wish my husband a Happy Father's Day! The boys and I surprised him with this portrait from Target. They do a great job. Matt is seriously the best husband ever! I couldn't handle raising twins without him. What dad do you know has to take a child with him every week to Priesthood? He never complains. Carter and Mason love their dad so much. They get so excited every time he walks in the room. He is also a great example for them and I couldn't pick a better role model. Thank you Matt for all you do. I wouldn't be as happy with anyone else!

San Diego Trip

We just got back from an amazing vacation in San Diego. We went with my husbands family. We did so much in the week we were there. On Monday, we had the Sloans take family photos of us at the beach. It was a bit cold and windy, but they do an awesome job. I can't wait to see them. On Tuesday, we went to Disneyland. We had breakfast with all the characters. The boys were very interested in them, but also very afraid, hence the pictures. There was much more to do for the boys than I thought. They had a blast and were very good too.

The Beach

On Wednesday, we did a session at the San Diego Temple. This is such a beautiful temple. I am so glad we were able to go. On Thursday and Friday we hung out at the beach. Matt went surfing and the boys had fun playing in the sand. They ate most of it. Carter kept trying to crawl to the ocean. Once he got there, he thought it was too cold. I am so grateful for all my in-laws. I truly think I have the best. Thanks for such a great week!!
