Here are the boys in their shirts and ties. I love dressing them up for church. I think they are very handsome.

Medicine

Here is Mason getting his medicine. He has to use the breathing machine to receive the albuterol. He has had this nasty cold for about 6 weeks. He can't get rid of it and so it has caused him to have 4 ear infections and pink eye. So now he is on the machine to help clear up the cold. He has to receive it 4 times a day and it takes about 10 minutes to do. He does pretty good with it, as you can see he likes to hold it in his mouth. The last 5 minutes he usually starts to cry. He is a trooper.

Merry Christmas!!

Happy Holidays! We hope everyone is having a great Christmas! I know we sure are. I think when you have kids Christmas becomes all about them. The boys got so many toys. The pictures only reflect a few of them. We went to my mom's on Christmas Eve for a big dinner and Christmas lights. This morning I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep. We ended up having to wake the boys up at 7:15 to start the festivities. The boys were so excited to see what Santa brought them. We went back to my mom's for more presents and a Christmas breakfast. I think the boys will be set on toys for the next year. Thanks everyone for all the presents. We love you all!!
Side note:
Sorry that I haven't posted in the last few weeks. Our computer crashed and has been MIA for the last few weeks. You don't realize how much you use something till you don't have it. How did we ever survive!!!

I'm Back!

I know it has been a while since my last post, but I am back. Let's just say I am really enjoying spending time with my boys. This is such a fun age. They are now 18 months old and have started Nursery. They absolutely love it! Matt and I check on them and they sometimes see us through the window on the door. They smile at us and go back to coloring or playing. They are the sweetest boys ever!! Everyone always compliments how happy they are, but when it comes to taking photos they hardly ever smile. Hence the pictures above. Maybe someday!!

Michigan

We went to Michigan for Thanksgiving. Matt's parents, sister, and brother-in-law live there. It was freezing cold, but we all had a blast! The boys look like they loved the snow, but really they didn't. The hated touching it. I seriously have the best in law's and love spending any time we can with them.

Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween everyone! Carter was a dragon and Mason was a lion. We had such a fun night and the boys couldn't stop shoving candy (with wrapper still on and everything) into their mouths. We went to my mom's for a little while and trick or treated at a few houses. Then it was off to the ward's Trunk or Treat. Hopefully the boys sleep tonight!!

Mason wasn't feeling too good and was getting tired of all the pictures.
The boys loved being pushed around in the wagon. Made it easier for us too!
We stopped at my mon's house and got some pictures of most of the grandkids.

Fun with Blinds
When I get ready for the day, I bring the boys into my bedroom with some toys and let them play. When I got out of the shower, this is where I found them. They know they are not allowed to play with the blinds, but I couldn't help but laugh at what I saw!

Bringing out the Silverware
So I finally gave in and bought some silverware for the boys to start eating with. I know I probably should have done this months ago. I was so worried that they would stab themselves with the forks. I guess I am just an overprotective mom.

Mason loved using the fork. He wouldn't put it down or eat without it. It took nearly 45 minutes for him to eat dinner.

Carter loved using the fork too. But he realized after about 5 minutes that it was a lot easier just picking up the food with his fingers.

Carter's Surgery
Carter had his hernia surgery today. While I knew that everything would be ok, I hope I never go through something like this again. It was a lot harder than I thought handing him off to the nurse and watching him go down the hall to surgery crying and reaching out to me. The surgery was about an hour and he did great. Thanks to my sister, Cindi, for watching Mason and for all the prayers. We appreciate all of our family and friends for all their help.
Carter and I in the waiting room. He was so good in here entertaining all the other patients with his smile and personality. Everyone thought he was the cutest thing ever.
Daddy and Carter right before the surgery.
The nurses were all so nice and one of them came with toys and bubbles to keep Carter distracted. He loved the bubbles and had a blast with the new toys.
I know this picture is blurry, but I have to show off his very adorable and fashionable cap!!
This is on the way home from the hospital. The medicine was still going strong so Carter was in a great mood and happy!

Camping

We went camping this weekend up in Payson. This was the boys first camping trip and they had a blast. They didn't do too well at night, let's just say Matt and I got about 3 hours of sleep on Friday and 5 hours of sleep on Saturday night, but it was still fun! We can't wait to go again!

Play Date

My sister and I try going to the Kids Club at Superstition Springs every Thursday. They have a huge stage where they perform. We don't stay for that, we just go and get the free kids meal coupons and head over to the play area. After that we ride the carousel for free because they are members of the Kids Club...which also happens to be free to join. Then we eat at Chick-fil-A using our coupons. The kids all have a blast and love the 2-3 hours we spend there. We look forward to it every week.
